Sending photos

If you have ‘your own news’ with accompanying photos, you can send them in the following ways:

• By e-mail as an attachment
• With the WeTransfer app, tap here for Android, here for iPhone
• Ask us via Signal or by e-mail for an upload link. This allows you to transfer photos directly from your phone to us very easily and without additional apps.

Don’t send images via Signal

Like WhatsApp, the app compresses too much, making the picture unfit for further processing. A link to news we should include at your discretion is often sufficient. We do very much like to receive good images in high resolution. But please note, if they are not your own photos: they must be royalty-free material. We cannot simply copy photos from other media. Not even from private individuals if there are no agreements with them.
