The Wind Assisted newsletter is sent out biweekly. In this newsletter you will find all the news posted on this site in the past 2 weeks, with links to the Wind Assisted website and individual articles.

Unsubscribe / change address

You can do this yourself! You will find 'unsubscribe' and 'manage your data' links at the bottom of the Wind Assisted newsletter.

I'm receiving the wrong language version of Wind Assisted

At the bottom of the newsletter you will find a link 'Beheer je abonnement'. This will take you to your profile page where you can change the preferred language ('taal').

I don't receive Wind Assisted (anymore)

  • Do you have Gmail? If you have the default setting 'Enable bundling of top promo emails in Promotions' it may have ended up in the 'Promotions' folder. Move it to 'Primary. Click here for more explanation from Gmail.
  • Do you still have the same email address? Has something changed with your provider? If you're not sure: feel free to sign up again! The system does not double-send to the same address and addresses that give an error message multiple times are automatically discarded.
  • Please subscribe with the address where you read the mail, not with a forwarding address. See below under "Problematic Email constructions.

I signed up, but the confirmation Email doesn't come

After you enter an Email address, an Email should come with subject line "Confirm your registration. There is a link in there that confirms your registration. Is it not coming?

  • Please wait, it can take up to 15 min.
  • Take a look in your Spam/Junk Email folder and mark it as 'not spam'
  • If you don't find it there either then you may have made a typo when entering the address. Please try again. Still having problems? Please contact us at webmaster@zeepost.info.

Problematic Email constructions

The amount of spam on the Internet (however pointless) continues to increase and spam filters are getting stricter almost by the day. Newsletters, like spam, are a form of mass mail and need to do a little extra to distinguish themselves from spam. This is difficult with some Email constructs, and the most important category is forwarding addresses. Subscribe with the address of the "final destination," not the forwarding address. Example based on our other newsletter 'Zeepost':

This works unreliably for newsletters. It is also going to work worse and worse for regular mail over the next few years.

This works reliably:

Sign up for the newsletter using the address at which you actually read the mail.

Are you registered with your work address? Some companies and organizations have a radical anti-spam solution that requires sender addresses to be registered first. Check with your IT department. You may need to register noreply@windassist.nl as a permitted sender.
