Sail cargo

Where is the fleet?

Every now and then you read here about (plans for) a historic cargo sailing ship. Then again, you hear nothing for months to a year. Therefore a quick update on the ships sailing for our sponsor Fairtransport.

De Tukker

De (the) Tukker sailed from Liverpool to IJmuiden in June with precious cargo: rum. It was unloaded there at the end of June. The ship is now en route to Porto and its position on 3 July is near the southern English coast.

Adventure

The Adventure left Cadiz in Spain for the Caribbean at the end of March, with a stopover in Tenerife. Meanwhile, she is already on her way back and en route to IJmuiden after a stopover in Horta (Azores).
